"Hearts of Tango", a review by Margarita Rabinovich
August 1, 2014
I have recently watched “Hearts of Tango”; it is a beautifully done documentary with mesmerizing cinematography, pictures and above all, sensitive choices of music. The director ponders a really good question and in doing so it captivates the attention of the viewer. As I watched the movie I felt a range of emotions and energy that I was not expecting to arise at all.
“Hearts of Tango” invites you to feel the music, the dancing and the human stories. I was left with a strong feeling and insight that became very clear at the end of the film: the human universal needs to connect and communicate in a fast-paced and stressful world. The film shows how Tango is an invitation to appease the mind and let the body run free, knowing that connecting with others is always a safe space.
Thank you for creating such a beautiful piece of art.
